Alex Mironov

Managing Director

Alex is a service design leader who helps government agencies make digital investment decisions that hold up in delivery and work for the people using the service.

Alex leads Civic Foundry’s Service Design practice. He brings human-centred design and digital delivery together so that investment and reform decisions achieve their strategic intent and are shaped by the people who rely on the service.

Alex has led digital transformation programs across government, most recently a contact centre transformation for a large federal service delivery agency spanning customer experience, operations and technology, which helped to reduce call volumes and service demand failure. He has developed current and future state service blueprints for several departments, then translated them into services designed and delivered to the DTA’s Digital Service Standard. His work covers every layer of a service, from the user experience through to the whole-of-organisation operating model needed to deliver it sustainably. Having designed for both commercial platforms and bespoke builds, he helps agencies start with the problem rather than the technology.

Alex started his career as a graduate at the Australian Taxation Office, where he went on to lead its web design studio. Before joining Civic Foundry he was Canberra lead for Deloitte’s federal government strategy and design capability. He holds a Master of Information Studies and a Bachelor of Graphic Design (First Class Honours) from the University of Canberra.

Let’s talk about your next challenge.
