Caitrin Dunn
Co-founder and Managing Director
Caitrin advises senior government leaders on technology strategy, investment and transformation, drawing on more than 25 years leading complex technology and advisory work.
Caitrin co-founded Civic Foundry and leads its Strategy practice. She works with senior executives on the decisions that shape how government services are delivered: where to invest, how to structure technology functions and how to build a case for change that withstands scrutiny.
She led the technology components of the first pass business case for a new national environmental regulator, and a department’s transition out of shared ICT services to an in-house function for more than 5,000 users. Earlier, she redesigned ICT, intelligence and biometric operating models for national security agencies and led the rectification of a national home insulation safety program.
Caitrin spent more than 15 years at PwC, where she was a Partner leading the Federal Government Technology Practice, as well as five years at Sayers and six years in the Technology and Risk function at Macquarie Group. She is a Board Member of NAATI and of Roundabout Canberra, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce.
