Shaun Bauer

Shaun co-founded Civic Foundry and leads its Connected Delivery practice, bringing strategy, design and technology together so what is recommended can be delivered.

Shaun was lead technical advisor for a department’s move out of shared ICT services, designing the architecture and in-house ICT function that now supports more than 5,000 users across 20 domestic and international sites. He led the cost model analysis that resolved a disputed shared services arrangement between two departments, and has supported first and second pass business cases for national security programs including data centre consolidation, end user computing and automated border processing.

Shaun started his career as a public servant, supporting the maintenance and effective usage of legacy ICT. He continued this work with top-tier consulting firms; helping transform government technology through the use of emerging technologies. He has also founded multiple technology businesses and is an active member of the Canberra Innovation community.
